FAIRVIEW Primary pupils love reading. It's official! The school held it's most successful Book Fair to date last week raising more than £3500.
The event is bi-annual and always proves very popular with pupils, parents and teachers alike. Every child had the opportunity to visit the fair and take part in the Book Fair competition.
The Book Fair was open to parents every morning before school and every afternoon after school, as well as being open until 8.30pm on Tuesday evening for those parents that are at work all day.
The success of the Fair was great news for the teachers as each book sold means new titles for the class library shelves, which in turn means motivated readers. A big hit all round! Thank you to all those who supported the Fair once again this year.
