Halloween is coming and there’s fun to be had

HALLOWEEN in Newtownabbey promises to hold lots of fun and entertainment for all the family, with entertainment running from Monday 27 until Friday 31 October.
On 27 October 2007 at 8pm, why not join the international medium/clairvoyant Margaret Herdman. Having made a number of visits to Ireland and following her previous sell out at the Courtyard Theatre, Margaret has built up an army of followers that swear by her gift.

The following night see some thrilling drama at the Courtyard Theatre, Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper. At last - The True Story. This drama graphically evokes the circumstances of the infamous Whitechapel murders of 1888. Using words of actual witnesses the true and terrible facts emerge. Tickets are £7/£5 concession and curtain up is at 8pm.
At last Halloween night arrives, and Ballyearl plays host to a Halloween party event from 7pm - 9pm. There will be face painters, balloon modellers, magic shows, bouncy castles, music, and amusements. A fancy dress competition will take place at 7.30pm. The evening will finish with a spooktacular fireworks display. Admission is free - however there will be charges for the amusements on site. Please note that parking for the event is at Mossley Mill, with a shuttle bus operating for those with limited mobility. At Ballyearl Arts and Leisure Centre, it will be disabled parking only (please call centre prior to event to book a space).
To end the halloween celebrations on Saturday 1st November, join our living history actors for Halloween at Sentry Hill. Help to make apple juice using a traditional apple press, meet one of the Sentry Hill family as she makes apple pies for a family get together and enjoy Halloween tales and games. Tour times: 11.15am, 12.15pm, 1.15pm, 2.15pm, 3.15pm. Admission prices: Adults £4.50, Concessions £3.50, Children £3.00 (light refreshments included).
