A LOCAL building firm are celebrating success after winning an award at the CEF Specify Construction Excellence Awards.
Hagan Homes Limited won the Brownfield Housing Award for the Halfpenny Mews Project at the ceremony that took place on Thursday 9th October.
The Construction Excellence Awards celebrate the very best of the industry and highlight its recent achievements with a total of 16 awards presented to local building companies.
John Armstrong, Managing Director of the Construction Employers Federation said: "Congratulations to the Ballyclare winner. Our entire industry should be extremely proud of the construction projects recognised in tonight's Awards. Despite challenging times, we have produced some of the best construction projects on these islands, on a par with the very finest internationally."
“The Award-winning projects clearly demonstrate the industry's commitment to quality and continuous improvement. If the Northern Ireland Executive can move forward on a wide range of major capital projects on its agenda and effectively get the work on the ground, the construction industry is ready to deliver it and deliver it to the highest standards. Such action would provide benefits far beyond the industry, safe-guarding jobs across the entire supply chain and benefiting the community as a whole."
