Enterprise Week at Carrickfergus College

ENTERPRISE Week takes place from 17-23 November 2008 and pupils at Carrickfergus College, a Specialist School for Business and Enterprise, will be taking part in a range of activities.
It is a national celebration of enterprise where thousands of activities are run by organisations across the UK to encourage people to unlock their enterprising talent, share ideas and make them happen!Carrickfergus College is entering its second year as a Centre of Excellence for Business and Enterprise. Pupils at the college have benefited from the extensive links that have been developed with local industry to prepare pupils for the world of work. Across the curriculum enterprise events have been held in every subject to make pupils' learning relevant to the work place, and to promote an entrepreneurial spirit across the school
During Enterprise Week pupils will be taking part in the 'Make your Mark' challenge, Project Business will be holding an Enterprise Day for Year 10, and visits will take place to local businesses to give pupils first hand experience of the world of work.
