Mossmen brave the elements for Boxing Day ‘cure’ thumbnail

A GOOD turnout of cyclists from Kings Moss Cycling Club met in Ballyclare Town Square for the club's Boxing Day 'cure' run.
Designed to be a leisurely ride, the 35 mile route passed through Carrickfergus and allowed a chance to stop off for some very welcome and very appreciated hot food and drink in a member's house.
The short route was covered at an easy pace to avoid causing too much of a shock to the system so soon after Christmas Day!
Next up, Kings Moss cyclists are likely to take part in a Juiced Orchard CC ’Cody’s Challenge’ event in Armagh in aid of the Clarke Clinic of the Royal Belfast Hospital and the charity Heart Beat.
The event will leave Richhill on the morning of Saturday 9th January.
The Mossmen are also working on a major event to be held, in aid of the NI Children’s Cancer Fund, during May Fair week in Ballyclare.
New members are always welcome, particularly at Sunday morning rides, which meet in Ballclare Town Square at 10am and are designed to support and encourage cyclists of all abilities.
Please note that Wednesday evening and Saturday morning rides are also held by Kings Moss. Please see the club website www.kingsmosscyclingclub.co.uk - or speak to a member for details.
Kings Moss Cycling Club is affiliated to the Cyclists Touring Club.
