Trophy winners at Ballyclare Golf Club

WITH the improved weather of the last two weeks it has been possible for the finals of the various match-play trophies at Ballyclare Golf Club to have been completed.
In the Love Trophy final, Brian and Joy Wilkinson beat Philip and Janice Clarke. For the Kirkpatrick Cup (Singles) final, 13 handicapper David Craig defeated 10 handicapper Ian McConnaughie.
In the Fourball matchplay final - a drawn out affair - Billy Millar and Robin Mairs beat Davy McWhirter and John McCreary at the 21st hole.
Then in the Curry Clock final S. Purdy and A. Wilson beat S. Heaney and B. Downey. In the McClure Cup final Sam Robinson beat Alan Lilley.
