Comrades Key Players thumbnailIan Mannus. SE4451

NAME: Michael Smith.
AGE: 20 years old.
POSITION: Right Back
TIME WITH THE CLUB: 5 years at the club, 3 with the first team.
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "Carrick is a good draw as it's a local derby and we will be up for it. It is also a good chance for us to get into the final again."
NAME: Ian Mannus
AGE: 23 years old
POSITION: Goalkeeper but wannabe Striker!
TIME WITH THE CLUB: 2nd season at the club
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "I really want to win this cup this year to make up for last years disappointment. I've been to the final twice and lost twice. I want to win it badly this year. We also owe Carrick one as they beat us last time we played each other."
NAME: Gary Bell (AKA Dinger)
AGE: 28 years old
POSITION: Left Back/Midfield
TIME WITH THE CLUB: 10 years plus at the club (at Larne in between for year and a half)
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "It's there for the taking for us. The pitch could suit us better. It will be a tight game against Carrick and to be honest any of the four teams left in the cup are capable of winning it on their day. It just
depends who turns up."
NAME: Ryan Murray (AKA Giggsy)
AGE: 24 years old
POSITION: Wherever Jamsie plays me, usually Centre Back/Left Back
TIME WITH THE CLUB: 7 years at the club
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "It's going to be a tough game and Carrick have the psychological advantage after knocking us out of the other cup earlier this season but if we perform we are more than capable of beating them."
NAME: Mark Craig (AKA Craiger)
AGE: 30 years old
POSITION: Centre Forward
TIME WITH THE CLUB: First season back at club having spent season and half at club few years ago
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "We've played Carrick three times this season already and have not beat them yet so we owe them one. If we turn up and play our game we will beat them."
NAME: Evan Forsythe (AKA Skinner)
AGE: 25 Years Old
POSITION: Centre Back
TIME WITH THE CLUB: "Too Many" years at the club! Over 5 years anyway
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "I think it was a good draw for us and we can win the match. We don't have a good recent record against Carrick but we have definitely got what it takes to beat them."
NAME: Stuart McClean
AGE: 26 Years Old
POSITION: Centre Midfield
TIME WITH THE CLUB: 10 Years with first team (apart from a few months away at Crusaders)
VIEWS ON THE DRAW: "We've got the experience of having played in the semi final last year. We need to use that to our advantage. It's a derby match, a semi-final match - it will come down to who wants it more. We have to want it more than Carrick. If we do, we will win."
